Who r darn kids? Hello, just wanna say hi. I am just back from the villages and beach. Although I spend most of my afternoon on the beach, but I am not on the trip either. hehe. I didn't touch the sea yet since I come. But I love the landscape here. A bit tired now. With all the translation, formation, ...., I need a break now. I am happy to see a lot of improvement, but sad to see the situation of some ppl. I went to 3 villages today. 1 of them looks really poor, but the 2 others look fine now. Most of them go to school, and 1 of them gets mention. Today we did a contract, if the children don't go to school next season, we will stop helping them. It's mean but we have to push them to bring their children to school. Only their education could improve their situation. After school, there r teeth to take care as well. Many works to do. Hope to finish b4 the 9th. I think we could, coz we have seen all the families already. Tomorrow, will bring them to the dentist's, villages again, then the formation of internet (email). Maybe we will go to take dinner in a restaurent where some girls working. We want to know wat kind of work they are doing. Hope it's fine.
Today is the presidential electionin on France as well. I don't forget it of course. Hopeeeeeeeeeeeeee that Segolene Royal will win and become the president. I am praying hard for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To S: wat do u mean by "1 of them gets mention"? but like...does it cost kids to go to school?if they dont have the money its hard to go to school...cos i did watch OTR in Cambodia and kids are like having to work to support their own education...its a tough life.

haha. see. doe wah u and me yau same taste ge ler. hehehe i think if we go shopping together, we'll be buying the same things. u're a good shopping buddy for me.
yea. when i was in cambodia, there were quite a lot of kids begging for money. some have a slightly better life as they were trying to sell us something instead of begging. that's a good step to try and get out of poverty.

Oh yea J, there are less begger right now. I stay here for 5 days already, and on the beach I dun see the beggers at all, but there r kids who try to sell something, yes. Well, I was surprise that I didn't see in Siam Reap last time. But in Phnom Penh there are still a lot. Most of them are from countryside. I don't know if the new political, "buiding the building for the poor" can help this. To K I meant, she received a congratulation cetificat, coz she was 2nd in the class. School is free, but they need to pay the extra courses. But we bought for them the clothes for school, shoes, toothbrush, toothpaste and give them the salary as well. The salary we give them is higher than wat they can earn from selling used cans. And if the parents to more effort they could even save. So can they send the kids to school? So if they don't send the kids to school, we won't give them the salary anymore. Some families can manage it very well with our help, I don't see why the others can't. We are supporting them to go to school, so for sure they can support it. Anyway, I am not happy with the presidential election in France yesterday. So saddddddddddd I can't believe Sarko is president of France now. Poor Segolene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To S: i now understand wat u mean. haha...yeah...i guess u have to be stricter with some people in order to get them to see sense. no point giving them money if they wont spend it wisely, ie sending their kids to school. they really need to think of the consequences and they should realise that by sending their kids to school they will be better off!just think of the potential jobs their kids could get in the future!hmm...they really need to start seeing into the future!

Yea, it's wat we are doing. We will control their school's result as well. I told them that they should go at least until grade 9th, because threre are new program adding (basic law, some technical skill) to primary school and junior high school's program. I think most of them understand this, and some children came to see me and told me that they want to go to school next season. And the parents promised that they will send them to school. Then Let's see.

hehe. shopping would be a great activity!
ya, if they don't use the money wisely, they shouldn't get the money. i mean, getting money without effort is already a very lucky thing, and if they still don't appreciate it, no point still giving to them.

Haha, Paris? hehe, Paris is not a place I want to go. Nothing to see nothing to show, for me. Coz I saw all the sites there already. For shopping, there were only clothes, cosmetics... nothing I want to shop. It's my mom and sister's fav place, but not mine, haha. I remembe, I was looking for a film, or posters picture of a french actress in the whole "La Defense" shopping mall, none. It's not like in Asia. In HK, Singapore, Malaysia, you can easily find the stuffs of our idol, haha. If you ask me to choose btween France and Cambodia. I will choose Cambodia, hehe. And for travelling in Europe. I prefer Italy, hehe. And I wanna go to German.
